When was the last time you wrote your own career plan?

Dec 9, 2016

In business, we seem to spend our lives doing up plans! Plans for budgets, sales forecasts, media schedules, logistics etc. We are so busy in our careers that we forget to sit down from time to time and do our own plan regards our career path. If you are still reading this it may mean that you are overdue updating or creating your own career plan.

Probably one of the best-known plans is the SWOT plan which is Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats. The kind folks over at Vista People have a complimentary self-analysis career tool for people who perhaps are at a crossroads in their career. Download it and sit down in your kitchen when the house is quiet and empty and start writing. You will get a great sense of clarity and focus when you are finished. Once you have a plan, things naturally will start to happen.
