Vista People’s 2017 Charity is the Cancer Fund for Children

Apr 21, 2017

Thank you for your interest. There can be nothing worse in this world that for a parent to be told their child has cancer. Members of the Irish digital economy have always realised their luck and privilege to work in a sector that has been so good to them, so I am asking that you help support this great charity, the Cancer Fund for Children. This is Vista People’s dedicated charity for 2017.

The aim is to build 3 further centres called Daisy Lodges in Connaught, Leinster and Munster, in addition to the existing Daisy Lodge in Ulster. These centres offer therapeutic short breaks to families. The Rory Foundation, the charitable trust of 4 time Major winner Rory McIlroy, will be receiving the inaugural Impact on Childhood Cancer Award at the Gala Event for the support they have given to Daisy Lodge, Co Down and their pledged support of Cancer Fund for Children’s Project Connacht.

This Gala ball will be a memorable event in the Shelbourne Hotel on September 8th. It will be a fantastic social occasion for people in the digital and wider economies. We are looking for companies to take a table or one of the sponsorship packages. If you want to discuss this with me (before I call you!) please ring 086 8170170.
